OCIA: Order of Christian Initiation for Adults

The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (formerly known as “Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults” or RCIA) prepares those who are seeking admission into the Catholic Church for the Sacraments of Initiation. Classes begin in October and run through Easter. RCIA is also the proper place for adult Catholics who are seeking their Confirmation.

OCIC: Order of Christian Initiation for Children

The Order of Christian Initiation for Children (formerly known as “Rite of Christian Initiation for Children” or RCIC) prepares those children seven and above who are seeking admission into the Catholic Church for the Sacraments of Initiation. Families must be enrolled and regularly attending the Family of Faith Program.
