Planned Giving

Participating in Christ the King’s Planned Giving program is a great way to secure the financial future of the parish and support our ongoing mission to evangelize and serve.  As a giver, you can avoid paying capital gains taxes and receive a charitable income tax deduction.  There are several ways to give:

Stocks and Bonds
To give a gift of appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, you can contact your broker to post it to the following account.  Please contact the parish office at 303-674-3155 immediately upon deposit to notify the parish of your gift.
Broker: Charles Schwab
DTC: 0164 (code 40)
Account #: 2062-7904
Account Name: Christ the King Catholic Church

Retirement Assets
To leave some or all of your retirement assets to CTK, you will need to complete a beneficiary designation form provided by your retirement plan custodian. If you designate CTK as beneficiary, we will benefit from the full value of your gift because your IRA assets will not be taxed at your death. Your estate will benefit from an estate tax charitable deduction for the gift.  Call us at 303-674-3155 to arrange your gift.

Real Estate
To make a gift of a house, vacation property, undeveloped land, or commercial property you must execute or sign a deed transferring ownership. You may deed part or all of your real property to CTK. Your gift will generally be based on the property’s fair market value, which must be established by an independent appraisal.  To set up your gift, please call 303-674-3155.
