Knights of Columbus
John P. McManamen Council #6905

Founded on the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus are a fraternal organization founded by Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney in 1882. Their goal is to help Catholic men, their families, and their parishes grow closer to Christ. The Knights bring financial assistance to the sick, disabled, and needy members of their families, their parishes, and their community.

Some of our Council’s activities include:

  • Service to the Parish: St Patrick’s dinner, Oktoberfest dinner, and other fundraisers to support parish ministries and services; Parish Picnic appreciation dinner; Members assist with a variety of parish ministries and needs.
  • Service to the Community: PID Fundraiser to help local schools and organizations provide services to persons with intellectual disabilities; Coats for Kids providing coats to children in need; Financial support for local pro-life resource centers; Food collection for local food pantries; Support the Seniors4Wellness monthly Friday Cafe at CTK, and many others.
  • Service to Council families: Spiritual resources to help members to grow in faith and lead their families in faith; Services and support for deceased members and their families; financial support for members’ insurance needs.
