THE CHRIST THE KING PARISH MISSION

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you until the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

Christ the King Parish Mission

Parish Mission Statement

We are the people of God, and as a Roman Catholic community, we worship the three persons of the Trinity; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Dedicated to charity and justice, we call others to join us as witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ. Fundamentally, our goal is to be Christ in the darkness of our world as He leads all of us to the gift of eternal life.

Core Values Underlying Our Mission

We will accomplish our mission as a compassionate community that:

Flows from and is nourished by the Liturgy of the Eucharist

Is centered in prayer and the Sacraments

Responds in charity to all human needs

Is dedicated to education in the Roman Catholic faith

Encourages stewardship of all material and spiritual gifts

Fosters the Christian virtues of faith, hope, and love in the community at large

The parish of Christ the King, located in Evergreen, Colorado, is shepherded by the Archbishop of Denver and the Holy See of the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church.
