When you make an online payment or donation, payment information such as a credit card, debit card, or bank account number may be collected directly by the applicable payment processor. Christ the King does not ordinarily receive or store complete payment-card information submitted through a third-party payment service.

Information submitted through a third-party payment service may also be subject to that provider’s privacy policy and terms.

Email and Text Communications

If you provide your email address or telephone number, Christ the King may use that information to communicate with you regarding parish programs, ministries, events, registrations, volunteer opportunities, announcements, or other parish matters.

If you consent to receive text messages from Christ the King, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply.

Mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Where applicable, you may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may also contact the Parish to request that certain communications be discontinued.

Parish email communications may be delivered through Mailchimp, as described in the Cookies, Analytics, and Website Information section below.

Children and Youth

Christ the King serves children and families through religious education, sacramental preparation, youth ministry, and other parish programs. As a result, the Parish may collect information about minors when a parent or legal guardian registers a child for a program or activity.

Parents and guardians should provide information on behalf of minor children when completing online registrations unless otherwise directed by the Parish.

Our general website is not intended to solicit personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. If we become aware that personal information has been collected directly from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation.

Photographs and Video

Christ the King may photograph or record parish programs, liturgies, events, and activities. Photographs or video may be used in parish communications, on the Parish website or social media accounts, in parish displays, or in educational or promotional materials.

For programs involving minors, the Parish may request permission from a parent or guardian before using a child’s image, consistent with applicable parish and Archdiocesan policies.
