OCIA and OCIC
OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults prepares those seeking admission into the Catholic Church for the Sacraments of Initiation. Classes begin in October and run through Easter. OCIA is also the proper place for adult Catholics who are seeking their Confirmation.
Note: OCIA is formerly known as Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, or RCIA.

OCIC: ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR CHILDREN
Formerly known as the “Rite of Christian Initiation for Children” (or RCIC), OCIC prepares children seven and above who are seeking admission into the Catholic Church for the Sacraments of Initiation. Families must be enrolled and regularly attending the Family Program.
