Sacramental Preparation

Christ the King Catholic Church prepares individuals for the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Anointing of the Sick, as well as Christian Burial.

Baptisms

Infant Baptism: Parents should be registered and active members of the parish. The baptism preparation program is held to prepare parents for the Catholic commitment they are making for their child. Parents are asked to enroll in the program before the birth of their child.

First Reconciliatoin and First Communion

Students seeking the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion should be enrolled in the regular second grade RE Class. You may register your child online by clicking here. Contact Lisa Bessette for more information at (303) 674-5282.

Confirmation

Preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation usually begins in 9th grade. Meetings are one Sunday per month and the sacrament is celebrated in November during the student's sophomore year. Holy Matrimony

Before Marriage preparation begins, the Catholic party (or parties) must be registered and active memebers of the parish for at least one year. No date fora wedding is set until the initial interviews and review of a permarriage inventory. Marriage Preparation requires a minimum of eight months.
