Sacramental Preparation
Christ the King Catholic Church prepares
individuals for the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation,
First Communion, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Anointing of the
Sick, as well as Christian Burial.
Infant Baptism: Parents should be registered
and active members of the parish. The baptism preparation program
is held to prepare parents for the Catholic commitment they are
making for their child. Parents are asked to enroll in the program
before the birth of their child.
Students seeking the sacraments of Reconciliation
and First Communion should be enrolled in the regular second grade
RE Class. You may register your child online by clicking here. Contact
Lisa Bessette for more information at (303) 674-5282.
Preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation
usually begins in 9th grade. Meetings are one Sunday per month and
the sacrament is celebrated in November during the student's sophomore
year. Click here to register your
teen for Confirmation. Contact Christopher Moore for more information
at liturgy.ctk@gmail.com.
Before Marriage preparation begins, the
Catholic party (or parties) must be registered and active memebers
of the parish for at least one year. No date fora wedding is set
until the initial interviews and review of a permarriage inventory.
